Louise Marie Rose Letilly Bergeron

Louise M. Bergeron, passed away July 19, 2012 at the Foyer d’Youville, Gravelbourg, SK at the age of 91. Predeceased by her parents Alexandre and Marie LeTilly, her husband Arthur (1996), son Joseph (1941), two great-grandchildren, sister Marie Bergeron and brother Alex Letilley, Louise is survived by children: Victor, Diane (Norris) Roszell, Carmelle (Rick) Legare, Norman (Kathy) and Brigitte (Sheldon) Jacob; 11 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren, sisters Yvonne Hoffos, Rosalie Blais and Helen Sundholm and one brother Emile (Marion)and numerous nieces and nephews. Mom lived for her family and her home was a gathering place for many. The door to her home was always open with something baking or cooking no matter what time of the day. She will always be remembered for her hard work, humor, wit and her willingness to help. She loved nothing better than a good game of cards, bingo and sharing stories of the past. Louise was born January 26, 1921 in Assiniboia, SK. She grew up on the farm six miles southeast of Assiniboia and attended school in the area. She married Arthur on June 17, 1940 and made their home on the farm until moving to Assiniboia in 1967. Funeral Service was held Tuesday, July 24, 2012 at the St George’s Roman Catholic Church, Assiniboia, SK. Pallbearers were grandsons: Todd, Jacob, Cade, Ryan, Mark and Grady. Interment followed in Mount Hope Cemetery. Donations in Memory of Louise may be made to the South Country Health Care Foundation – Assiniboia Union Hospital Integrated Facility Memorial Fund.
