Our memories of Marie are good ones. When Marie comes to mind, she’s smiling. Many of our visits to Wood Mountain were in summer so there was an abundance of sun, of laughs and a whole lot of good food.

If Wood Mountain could be said to have a center, it would be somewhere between Marie’s home and the Trails End Hotel. She made us comfortable in her home, not as guests but as family. And for that we consider ourselves lucky and grateful. You will be missed Marie.
