
Norman Tomlinson passed away March 30, 2016 at Regina General Hospital, Regina, Saskatchewan. Norman was born November 17, 1944 at Viceroy, Saskatchewan. He went to Maverick School for the first three years, then to Viceroy School until graduation. Norman started farming with his dad and then took over the family farm when his dad retired. He enjoyed the farming way of life. He also enjoyed fishing, hunting and was an avid curler during the long winter months. Norman really enjoyed his nieces and nephews visiting as he thought greatly of them. Predeceased by his parents Stan and Frances, he is survived by his brother Garry of Bengough, his sister Joyce (Ken) Scherer of Regina, two nieces Terena and Rhonda, three nephews Blair, Brent and Darren, as well as aunts, uncles and cousins. Funeral Service was held at Knox United Church, Bengough, on Monday, April 4, 2016 at 2:00 pm. Neil Gilbert officiated. Pallbearers were: Darren Tomlinson, Brent Scherer, Blair Scherer, Kevin Jackson, Bryant Boynton and Darryl Kesslering. Interment followed at the Bengough Cemetery. Donations were accepted for the Bengough Health Centre Ladies Auxiliary. Arrangements entrusted to Ross Funeral Service, Assiniboia, Saskatchewan.
