

Reginald Walter Sjogren of Bengough, SK passed away on February 17, 2017 at the age of 71 years. Reg was born in Bengough, SK to Harold and Grace Sjogren on February 9, 1946. He went to School in Big Beaver and later went to the Saskatchewan Technical Institute where he took automotive mechanics. On July 8, 1967 he married Margaret Meston and in 1968 took a job operating heavy equipment at the Shellmouth Dam in Manitoba. He also worked in winter on a seismic crew in Alberta. Reg and Margaret were blessed with two sons, Troy and Rodney and farmed on the home place at Big Beaver until September 2012 when they moved to Bengough. Left to cherish Reg’s memory is his loving wife Margaret; son Troy Sjogren, granddaughter Taylor and grandson Dawson, son Rodney (Susan) Sjogren and grandsons Chance and Walker; sister Darlene (Joe) Bailey; brother Body (Emily) Sjogren; brothers-in-law Calvin (Susan) Meston and Wade (Johanne) Meston and numerous neices and nephews, cousins and friends. Predeceased by his parents Harold and Grace (nee King) Sjogren, niece Patricia Bailey and nephew Leslie Sjogren, father-law and mother-in-law Bill and Helen Meston and sister-in-law Agnes Meston. A celebration of life was held February 25, 2017 at Bengough Community Centre. Arrangements entrusted to Ross Funeral Service, Assiniboia, SK.
