Thelma Rose Spicer

Rose Spicer passed away peacefully on June 4, 2025, at the age of 84 years.

Rose is predeceased by her husband John; her father, George Derbyshire; mother, Thelma and stepfather Archie Wilson.

She is survived by daughter, Heather (Terry) Hobbs of Assiniboia; son, Scott (Inga) of Winnipeg; three grandsons, Kyle (Dani) Ringrose-Hobbs, Adam (Kendra) Hobbs, Tom (Erin) Hobbs; great-grandchildren: Brody, Jude, Brooklyn, Ivy, Ash, Breanna and Miller. Also surviving are siblings, Ted (Julie) Derbyshire, Bill (Kathy) Wilson, Shirley (Leo dec’d) Marchand numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral Service will be held Thursday, June 12, 2025 at 1:00 pm in Ross Funeral Chapel with Les Wilcock presiding. Pallbearers grandsons and nephews. Interment at Mount Hope Cemetery, Assiniboia, SK followed by fellowship and lunch at the 55 Club. Donations in Memory of Rose may be made to the Lafleche & District Health Fund.
