Carley Ann Gaede

Carley Gaede, 96 of Atascadero passed away peacefully at home on Jan 2, 2026 surrounded by her family. A three time breast cancer survivor, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 67 years, Clarence, two brothers; Sid and Vince, and grandson, Brian.

She is survived by her brother, Tom (Elaine), daughters; Janelle (Brad) Linda (Lloyd), Kathy (Jim), 13 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and longtime family friends.

A Rosary on Friday, Feb 13th at 6:00 pm and a Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, February 14th at 10:00 AM at St Williams Catholic Church in Atascadero.

Carley was a devoted caregiver throughout her life, providing loving shelter for family and friends. She "adopted" many "lil Sisters" & "4th Daughters" She kept her wit & sense of humor until her last days.

She was an angel on earth.

She volunteered in many community organizations including St Williams Altar Society, Catholic Deanery of the Central Coast, Meals on Wheels, and Women of the Moose. She was active in promoting women’s retreats to St Clare’s of Soquel.

She blessed us often saying, “Angels all Around,” and “Remember to Pray!"
