Born in Shafter, CA on Feb 1, 1926 to George & Elizabeth Gaede, the 7th of 9 children. At the age of 7 he started his great example of hard work ethics in farming and graduated from Shafter High School. Following Honorable discharge from the Army he turned to banking and then auto sales at
Atascadero Ford. He finally resigned from his retirement job at St William’s just 1 month
before he turned 90.
He is survived by wife of 68 yrs, Carley; daughters; Janelle Farren (Brad), Linda Kinney (Lloyd), Kathleen Tucker (Jim), 14 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
A Rosary will be held on March 8th at 6:30 pm, followed by a Memorial Mass on March 9th at 11:00 am both at St William’s Catholic Church in Atascadero.
