Florence Clark was born in May, 1924 in Los Angeles, California and went home to the Lord on October 8, 2014 in Arroyo Grande, California. She was preceded in death by her mother, Alma Clark; step-father, Beauford Clark; sister, Beverly Braren and daughter Cathy Scott. She is survived by her daughter, Debbie Allen; son-in-law, Tim and her granddaughters, Amanda and Ashley Allen.
Florence graduated from Cosmetology school in 1946. She worked as a beautician in Salinas until 1954 when she moved to Los Angeles, where she lived and worked until November of 2003. During her time in Los Angeles, she worked at various beauty shops, until she became Co-owner of a shop in Beverly Hills. Florence worked until she was 75 years old. In 2003, she moved to Atascadero and lived with her daughter, Debbie.
Florence will be remembered as a selfless woman who truly loved her friends and family. She would go out of her way without even thinking of herself to make sure that those she loved were well taken care of. In addition to her love of her friends and family, Florence also had a deep love of animals.
