Dear Anna and the Cherry Boys,

We were so saddened to hear about Stan's passing.  We are visiting Atascadero, staying at the Elks Lodge for 10 days.  We have fond memories of your wonderful family, mostly from our time at Monterey Road and Gordon's relationship with Stan regarding financial issues.  Thanks so much. We last visited with you at breakfast at Cowgirls about 3 yrs ago.

 I met Dan in 1974 and liked him right away. Anyone who is never met him has missed out. He was  A true gentleman, easy-going, very personal and had a kindness about him that made everyone love him.  It has been an honor to have him as a friend. One of the people that you would look forward to seeing and spending time with him. He was a special person and will be missed a lot.
