Thomas Mercer, 77 died on 8/1/2015 in a tragic car accident. He will be remember in the community for his love of God and volunteer work at several organizations. He is survived by his wife, Diane Mercer; daughter Gwen Fahy (Paul); sons Ben Mercer (Wendy) and Matt Mercer (Gretchen) and eight grandchildren as well as his brother Pat Mercer (Debbie) and Sister Judy Tomsich (Frank). He is preceded in death by his wife , Janet Mercer. Funeral services will held at St. William's Church in Atascadero. Vigil: 6:30- 7:00 pm on 8/17/2015 and Memorial Mass at 10 am on 8/18/2015. His family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations are sent to Transitional Food and Shelter inc.
