As a co-worker of Wade for many years, I’m sad to hear of his death.  I knew him as a diligent worker and guy who always brought a joke, a laugh, and good story to any office moment.  If it was a boring meeting or a new, challenging regulation, he could use his wit to lighten things up with his deep resonant voice.  With new, young parents now with a disabled child, he could carefully lead them through the process of learning about a support system that would be there for all of their child’s life.  I hope that you who survive him have seen this side of him. I know he had troubles, like many of us, I will remember him for his kindness and humor and what that brought to me and others where we worked. My condolences for your loss.

Wade was in my life for many years.  He was a very thoughtful person a great social worker and a supportive friend.  I will always remember him and he will continue to be in my life forever.

Attended Cal Poly with Wade and spent  many times together  with Wade and his daughter truly admired his commitment traveling religiously to see his daughter during his divorce nothing would get in the way  driving  to and from for weekend family time

so sorry to see the passing of Wade. I worked at several related agency to TCRC.  so sorry. wade is one of the good guys.

Wade was a colleague of mine at TCRC and gave me my first caseload when I first started from his caseload- and for reasons I joked with him for years around who he gave me and why. Wade was always, always making someone laugh and could cheer up any room with laughter to the point of tears. So many memories (Ping Pong, Football  Squares, German Potato Salad, Kamikaze Woodpecker signs on our windows)- but most of all Wade was a social worker at heart and did his job and did it well with kindness, compassion and thoroughness. I came to supervise Wade later in years and seeing his compassion and work from that lens just furthered my thoughts around who he was at heart- kind, gentle, compassionate and an overall good person.

Wade was such a joy to work with at TCRC. He always made us laugh. We have missed his enthusiasm and laugh. We also miss the German Potato salad and Cubanos he shared with us.  Not to mention the ping pong fun!

I am so sorry to hear of Wade's passing. We worked together at TCRC and he taught me a great deal including about the history of TCRC and how it all changes with time. He was a steady presence who had a way of adding humor into even challenging moments. I will always remember him with a paperback novel in his hand!

Wade touched the lives of so many and will be deeply missed.  He was a wonderful friend for many years.  He always made me laugh even on the toughest days.
