Mr. McCarty is preceded in death by father John Blake McCarty and Mother Elizabeth Potter McCarty, wife Corrine McCarty, and one daughter Kim McCarty Young.
He is survived by his son Doug McCarty, daughter Shari McCarty Schmioltte, Sister Elizabeth Blair and husband John, three grandchildren and one great grandchild.
Mr. McCarty was of the Baptist Faith. He loved Michigan football.
