Edward Hughes

Mr. Hughes is preceded in death by his parents, four brothers, Phillip, James, David and Charles Hughes, two sisters, Mabel Harris and Dorothy Hunt.

Mr. Hughes was a self-employed truck driver for over 50 years.

Survivors include: one son Mark Hughes and wife Toni of Orlando, FL; one brother, William Hughes and wife Ann of Elkmont; two sisters, Geneva Downs of Athens; Martha Burchell of Cullman three grandchildren, Elishia, Samantha and Stephanie Hughes of Orlando, FL; three great-grandchildren, Addison, James and Julian.

There will be a graveside service Tuesday, May 16, 2017 at 10 a.m. at Limestone Memorial Gardens with James Oliver officiating.

Pallbearers will be Rod Burchell, Greg Burchell, Mike Hughes, Chris Walker, Tim Hughes and Mike Williams.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Church of God of Prophecy, 23031 Sandlin Rd Elkmont, Alabama 35620.
