He was born June 9, 1983, in Denver, Colorado to Dana VanDersarl and JoAnn Konczak VanDersarl.
Eric was loving, kind and generous man who will be missed by all who love him.
"Eric was always on a quest to learn new things and explore new topics. He devoured books on a diverse number of topics from ancient history, to religion and technology. He taught himself how to repair computers, how to code and was very skilled with hardware and software. He was always curious and motivated to learn about new things.
If Eric thought of you as a friend, it was because he saw your value and appreciated the important qualities you possess such as your honesty, integrity, the caring way that you treated others and your sense of humor. He cared most about people and relationships. Those things were the only gold that he mined in life.
Above all else, Eric's love was huge, tender, loyal and always available. If a friend needed help or emotional support, Eric was reliably there for them. It's his love that we'll all miss the most. We were all so unbelievably fortunate to have been loved by him and to have loved him in return. Please plant a little part of him and his love in someone else and pass that love on. Love is the garden we're all here to grow and Eric was profoundly good at that. To those who loved him, know that he was always deeply appreciative of that and his family is too."
Mr. VanDersarl is survived by his parents, dear friend; Kim Archer, one brother; Joel VanDersarl, one sister; Katie VanDersarl.
There will be a Graveside Service held at a later date.
