

Born on May 21, 1942 in Athens, Alabama. He was preceded in death by his parents, John William and Anna Pearl King Pack and five siblings.
Survivors include his wife Kathryn Ann Bobo Pack and two daughters, Machelle Pack Ogletree and husband Dewayne Ogletree of Athens. Jerrianne Pack Herron and husband Greg Herron of Harvest.
He was the youngest of nine siblings. Three of which survive him.
Johnnie D. Pack of Athens, Nell Pack Harvey of Athens and Agnes Pack Ferrell of Montgomery.
Jerry was a proud grandfather of six grandchildren: Brianna Janowitz, Joshuah Ogletree, Sydnee Kerr, Lindsay Ogletree, Shea Herron and Riley Herron.
He had three great-grand children, and several nieces and nephews.
Jerry was a member of Athens High School Class of 1961.
He was wed to Kathryn Bobo in 1963 to whom he would have celebrated 50 years of marriage on December 23 of this year.
Jerry retired from Athens Limestone Hospital in 2009.
He loved spending time with his family and was especially proud of his great grandchildren.
He also was an avid gardener who passed along his love and knowledge of gardening to his daughters.
He spent much of his time after retirement raising vegetables and tending his daylily fields.
Visitation will be Tuesday November 5th from 6:00pm until 9:00pm
at McConnell Funeral Home 1200 E. Forest St. Athens, Alabama.
Family will be received at 5:00pm.
The funeral Service will be held Wednesday November 6th at 2:00 pm with Brother Kirk Bobo officiating.

Burial will be at Limestone Memorial Gardens on Hwy. 31 S.
His grandchildren will serve as pallbearers.
The family would like to extend their heart felt gratitude to the many kind friends and relatives who helped during the toilsome times preceding his death.
