Jimmy Smith, age 69, of Athens, Alabama passed away on Friday, November 20, 2020. Jimmy was born July 8, 1951 to James Monroe Smith and Dorothy Louise Rice Smith. Jimmy had worked for Martin Stove and was a longtime associate of Don's Auto Sales in Athens.
Jimmy is survived by his wife, Nell Smith; daughter Traci Smith; son Dale Smith (Wendy); son Daniel Smith (Karen); granddaughter Natasha Bodiford, granddaughter Lauren Smith, great grandson Riley Maisonet and great granddaughter Jasmine Maisonet.
A visitation for Jimmy will be held Monday, November 23, 2020 from 12:30 PM to 3:00 PM. at McConnell Funeral Home. Chapel services will be Monday, November 23, 2020 at 3:00 PM, burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery, Hwy 31, Athens, Alabama.
