Graveside Services for Mr. John W. Chisholm, age 74, of Athens, AL, will be Wednesday, November 7, 2012 at 11A.M. at Roselawn Cemetery with Jimmy Bassham, Jr. officiating. Mr. Chisholm passed away Sunday November 4, 2012 at his residence.
Visitation will be Tuesday, November 6, 2012 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at McConnell Funeral Home and Wednesday November 7, 2012 from 10-10:45a.m.
Mr. Chisholm was born March 12, 1938 in Baldwin, MS to John Curtis Chisholm and Hortense Duncan. He was retired after 33yrs from 3M Decatur.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by his loving wife Elizabeth Chisholm of 53 years; one son Joel C. Chisholm and wife Regina; grandson Clay Chisholm, granddaughter Elizabeth Ann Chisholm; brother David Chisholm and wife Rose Marie; sister Sharon Shelton and husband George; and several nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Danny Crawford, Robert Hubbs, John Hubbs, Gregg Pirtle, David Baine and Ley Chisholm.
