The Funeral Service for Linda Faye Cox, age 69, of Athens, AL; will be Sunday, February 9, 2014 at 2 p.m. at Sardis Springs Baptist Church with Tim Keenum officiating. She will lie in state from 1-2 P.M at the Church.
Visitation will be Saturday, February 08, 2014: 6-9 P.M. at McConnell Funeral Home.
Mrs. Cox passed away Friday February 7, 2014 at Huntsville Hospital.
She was born December 28, 1944 in Limestone County, Alabama to Hamp and Annie Barnes.
Mrs. Cox is preceded in death by her parents; and husband W.D. Cox.
She is survived by her son Jeff Cox and wife Tracey of Athens, AL; one daughter Pebbles Barnett of Toney, AL; four grandchildren Adam Barnett, Brittany Barnett, Keri Cox, and Morgan Cox, six brothers, four sisters, and several nieces and nephews.
