She was born on December 8, 1955, in Tampa, FL, to the late Donald and Nancy Fowler, and was a CNA for many years.
She loved to watch the Florida Gators play football, read, spend time with her kids and grandkids, and was a very avid fan of Star Wars and Star Trek.
Visitation will be on Wednesday, December 27th, at McConnell Funeral Home from 12-1pm. A chapel service will begin at 1pm, and burial will be at Gatlin Cemetery in Ardmore.
Ms. Haygood is survived by her daughters, Valerie Payne and Larry, and Lara Haygood; sisters, DeeDee Fowler and Allyn Puckett; grandkids: Brianne Haygood, Claytin Haygood and James Payne, and great-grandkids, Leon and Stella Haygood.
