The funeral for Mattie Louise Valdiviezo, 61, of Tanner will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at McConnell Funeral Home with Ricky Lowery officiating. Burial will be at Wesley Chapel Cemetery.
Visitation is from 6-9 tonight at the funeral home.
She died Saturday, April 3, 2010, at Decatur General Hospital.
Mrs. Valdiviezo was born Sept. 13, 1948, to Charles and Gladys Knox Barnett. She was a custom quilt maker. She worked as a grill manager at Madison Bowling Center and also customer sales and service at Frame World Art Gallery.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and one brother, Billy Barnett.
Survivors include her husband of 15 years, Atilano Valdiviezo; daughters, Cynthia C. Williams and Kelly L. Smith; stepsons, Luciano Valdiviezo, Isidro Valdiviezo and Ben Valdiviezo; stepdaughters, Micaela Valdiviezo Velta and Nicola Valdiviezo; brother, Charles Ray Barnett; sisters, Brenda Collier, Shirley Johnson and Mary Estes; 26 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Christopher Barnett, Braiden Smith, Christopher Williams, Gary Williams, Mark Kane Jr., Luciano Valdiviezo, Isidro Valdiviezo and Ben Valdiviezo.
