Peter Jon Kiep

He is survived by his wife, Betty Kerr Kiep; children Richard Alan Shean (Dora), Timothy Jon Kiep (Andrea), and Bryan Clayton Kiep; grandchildren Shane Kiep (Gypsy), Stephanie Powell (Cory), Jackson Kiep, Mary Catherine Kiep (Nick Stahl), Elijah Kiep, Brady Kiep, Matthew Kiep II (Samantha), Justin Kiep, Jon Lewis Kiep (Samantha Locke) and Jessica Kiep; great grandchildren Cambria Kiep, Gannon Kiep, Juniper Robello, and Tatum Robello.

He is preceded in death by his parents Frank and Helen Kiep, brothers Frank and Robert Kiep, sister Mary Lou Erickson, son Matthew Kiep and grandson Ryan Parker.

Funeral services for Mr. Kiep will be Tuesday, January 13, 2026, at Copeland Presbyterian Church at 2:00 p.m. with Susan Parker and Jaina Anderson-Glaze officiating. Visitation will be 12:30 to 2:00 p.m. at the church preceding the service. Pallbearers will be grandsons Jackson Kiep, Elijah Kiep, Brady Kiep, Matthew Kiep II, Jon Lewis Kiep and Nick Stahl. Burial will be at Limestone Memorial Gardens, 1987 US Highway 31 South, Athens, AL 35611.

Mr. Kiep was a veteran of the U.S. Army and retired from Xerox Corporation, He loved God, family, Copeland Church, being on the water, and the University of Florida football.
