Mrs. Jackson is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Waddell Jackson, one brother, T.M. White, Jr., one sister, Hilda Dugger.
Mrs. Jackson and her husband farmed for all of their married life. She was a substitute teacher for the Limestone County School system. She was a Post Mistress for the Lester post office, she also had a tax service in her home. Mrs. Jackson was a lifelong member of the Church of Christ.
Survivors include three daughters, Faye Jackson Hill and husband Don of Athens; Sandra Bass of Decatur, GA; Amanda Thomas and husband Greg of Elkmont, AL; 9 grandchildren, Mark Bass and wife Stephanie of Atlanta, GA; Emily Brand Woodall and husband Billy of Athens; Jenny Bass and husband Jamie Walker of Atlanta, GA; Rusty Brand and wife Beth of Athens; Kent Schrimsher and wife Mallory of Brandenburg, KY; Drew Schrimsher and wife Danielle of Slocomb, AL; Leah Thompson of Athens; Jackson Hill and Evan Hill both of Athens, and 14 great-grandchildren.
The funeral service will be Saturday, June 29, 2019 at 3 p.m. at Central Church of Christ with Rusty Brand officiating. Visitation will be Saturday, June 29th from 1-3 p.m. at the church. Burial will be at Hester Chapel Cemetery.
