Mr. O’Neil was born September 9, 1960 in Kalamazoo, Michigan to John Edward O’Neil and Cecilia Josephine Kozlik O’Neil.
SGT. O’Neil served in the U.S. Army for 22 years.
Survivors include his loving wife of 22 years, Paris O’Neil of Athens, AL, one son Corey O’Neil (Krystle) of Athens, AL, two grandchildren Draven Hinshaw and Ensley O’Neil.
Funeral Service will be Thursday July 13, 2023 at McConnell Funeral Home at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Thom Porter officiating. Visitation will be Thursday July 13, 2023 from 9:30 – 11:00 A.M.
Pallbearers will be Bob Bordan, Jeremy Boyd, Mark Davidson, Brian Rogers, Lathain Morton and David Braxton.
Burial will follow at Roselawn Cemetery.
