Visitation is from 1-1:45 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Morris passed away Tuesday, Nov. 22, 2011, at home.
Shirley Morris was born Oct. 25, 1934, in Lawrence County to Ross and Irene Lancaster.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, William and Prentis Lancaster; and four sisters, Nona Pitt, Maevene Compton, Lois Carte and Dorothy Smith.
Mrs. Morris is survived by her husband of 61 years, Guin Morris of Athens; five sons, Stanley Morris, Trelynn Morris, Perry Morris and wife Cindy, Roger Morris and wife Sandie and Kenny Morris; one sister, Hazel Watkins; 15 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Shawn Morris, Tommy Morris, Tony Morris, William Guimarin, Derek Standridge, Ross Morris and Ron Morris.
In lieu of flowers, make memorials to Hospice of Limestone County.
