Monteen was born in Norfolk, Virginia on August 19, 1954, and was raised in North Carolina, where she attended local schools. As an adult, her travels took her from South Carolina to Nevada, before spending her golden years in Georgia with her son, Jessie. Monteen loved the outdoors most of all and returned to school, as an adult, and received her associate’s degree in Horticultural Landscape Management. She also loved woodworking, sewing, nature and studying her Bible. She was a great dancer and loved her cat, Guinness.
She is survived by her loving sons, Ralph Wrenn and Jessie Wrenn; nine grandchildren, Wyatt, Gracen, Ivan, Zoe, Yates, and Honor Wrenn, Chellsey McCollum, and Christin and Darian Harvey.
A celebration of life will be held in her honor for family and friends.
