Born in Garden City, KS, Amy was the daughter of John Frederick Streit III and Claudia Davis Streit of Athens. An avid reader, she loved her cat Mitzy, music and dancing. Her family remembers Amy as a super caring person who loved giving a good hug.
Survivors, in addition to her parents, include brother, John Streit IV (Emily) of Decatur; nephew, John Streit V; aunt, Marsha Werning of Leawood, KS; and uncle, Tracy Davis of Overland Park, KS.
Services will be private.
