A native of Athens, Ms. Butler was a daughter of the late John Roy Hill and Mary Louise Clark Drake. She was an office manager for C.H. Martin and Company.
Survivors include son, Jason Butler of Atlanta; sister, Pat Paul of Athens; and a number of cousins.
A graveside service will be held Saturday, December 17 at 2 p.m. at Evergreen Memorial Park with Hillard Lee officiating.
