Bea Holeman passed away peacefully at home from complications of a number of strokes.
Bea was born in Akron, OH on February 4, 1929 to Franklin and Clara Overholt. She had eight sisters and brothers.
She attended college at Anderson College where she met John. They were married on August 16, 1952 and they raised three children together. For most of the years Bea was a homemaker and wife.
Bea played piano and organ for the churches where John pastored over the course of 25 years. She was always involved with the church and will be remembered for her sweet disposition, smile, and friendliness.
She took a number of trips in the U.S. and abroad with John, and when they weren’t traveling, the next trip was always being planned.
She enjoyed being involved in the large senior’s class at Mountain Park United Methodist Church in Stone Mountain, GA.
Bea is survived by her three children, Kathleen Mihai (Alex), David Holeman, and Delwin Holeman (Melody); brother Paul; six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; a number of nieces and nephews.
A graveside memorial service will be held in early April at the Oilton, Oklahoma cemetery where her husband John was buried in 2017.
