Mr. Blakeman was born on February 13, 1952 to the late Lester and Jean Loomis Blakeman. He was a retired service technician with Duplicating Systems, Inc., was a member of Athens Christian Church, and will be missed by all who knew him.
Survivors include his wife, Melanie Barber Blakeman; sister Barbara Wilkins of El Paso, Texas; brother, Lester (Karen) Blakeman of Dover, Delaware; a number of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be Monday, January 18 at 2 p.m. at the chapel of Bernstein Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Evergreen Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends Sunday, January 17 from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
