Charles Albert Richardson Jr

A native of Exeter, New Hampshire Mr. Richardson was the son of the late Charles Albert Richardson, Sr and Anna Obermeyer Richardson. After graduating from the University of New Hampshire, he was employed by General Electric until retiring after 42 years. He was a long time member of St. Luke's Presbyterian Church in Atlanta, Ga and was currently a member of Athens First United Methodist Church.

Survivors include his wife of 69 years, Audrey Finch Richardson of Bogart; daughters, Patti Staten and husband, Richard of Lilburn, Kyle Anne Mitchell and husband, Jay of Sarasota, FL, Beth Haggard and husband, Patrick of Athens, Pat Baker of Blue Ridge, GA and grandchildren, Blake Staten (Melanie), Jase Mitchell (deceased), Emily Peacock (Scott), Evan Haggard, and Clark Haggard.

A service will be held at 3PM Sunday, May 31 at Athens First United Methodist Church with Reverends Chuck Hodges and Martha Aenchbacher officiating. The family will receive friends from 2-3PM prior to the service in the John Wesley Parlor.
