Mr. Robertson was born in Clarke County and was the son of the late William Charles and Virginia Graham Robertson. He joined the Athens Fire Department in 1978 and retired from the Athens Clarke County Fire Department in 2003. While with the fire department he was a member of the Honor Guard and was also known for his hand made knives.
Survivors include his wife Martha Johnson Robertson of Bogart; brother Clark Robertson of Woodstock; sister Charzel Pless of Toccoa and a number of nieces and nephews.
Memorial services will be 6 pm Sunday, September 2nd, at the chapel of Bernstein Funeral Home with Ed Saye officiating. The family will receive friends from 5-6 pm at Bernstein.
