Born in Augusta, he was the son of the late Clarence Wade and Gladys Arthur Creech. Before retirement he worked for The Athens Clarke County Water Dept. for 26 years and St. Mary’s Hospital Environmental Dept. for 20 years. Mr. Creech was a member of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include his loving and devoted wife Debora (Debbie) Hardegree Creech of Statham; Children Melissa Brown and husband James of Danielsville, Scott Smith of Winterville, Jennifer Haller of Statham, Amanda Hall and husband Kenneth of Statham and Angelia Creech of Glennville, sister and brother in law Linda and Sammy Ayers of Eatonton, Ga, 14 grandchildren, one great grandchild and a number of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be 3pm Monday, March 16th, at the chapel of Bernstein Funeral Home with Rev. Bill Hayes and Rev. David Lester officiating. Interment will follow in Bethabara Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends 5-7 pm Sunday at Bernstein.
