Dear Rebecca and Family,
I only recently learned of Danny's death.  I was so very sorry to learn of this.  Danny was a good friend of mine through high school and college.  He was my Phi Kappa Tau big brother, and it was through him that I met my wife Susie, she had formerly been his girlfriend. 
Susie and I had the pleasure of visiting with Danny at your home in Athens in 2001.  It was then that we met his children.  We are thankful for that visit and only wish we had kept closer touch.
Danny was a good friend, extremely intelligent with a good sense of humor and very well liked by many, many people.  He is missed.

Dear Dean White and family, I was heartbroken to learn of Dan's passing. I worked with Dan as his administrative assistant for almost 10 years at ICLE.  I thoroughly enjoyed working with him, and came to know him for his professionalism, humor, and his love of books. I will miss him greatly. My heartfelt sympathy to you and your family.

Rebecca, Brendan, and Maren: I was so sorry to hear about Dan. I worked with him every January since 2002 on a seminar for ICLE, and he was always a delight to work with -- such a gentleman, calm, professional, and funny too.
