Born in Clarke County, Debbie was the daughter of the late Talmadge and Margie Roberts. Debbie graduated from Oconee County High School in 1971. She retired from the Oconee County School System after a 20 year career. She was a beloved cafeteria worker and later was a Paraprofessional for the Special Education department. In addition to her parents, Debbie was preceded in death by her son, Thomas Christopher Meeler.
Survivors include her spouse of 50 years, Larry Meeler; children, Travis Meeler and Ryan (Candice) Meeler; grandchildren, Mason and Abbey Meeler; and brother, Larry (Cindy) Roberts, all of Watkinsville. She also leaves behind a number of loving family members.
