Lloyd and I recently saw Don’s obituary on line and wanted to express our condolences. We are so sorry to hear about your loss, Marcia. Don was a good man and you two were very lucky to have found each other.

May you find peace in the fact that the two of you built a wonderful life together and together, built a great family. We hope you find some comfort in the memories you’ve shared.

Thank you for being my friend in high school and thank you for being so kind to me when I moved to Florida. Don was lucky to have you... Blessings, Debbie and Lloyd

Much love and sympathy to Marcia, Sarah, Mark and Emily along with their families during this difficult time. Don was certainly a wonderful husband, father, friend and neighbor to all of those of us whose lives he touched in so many ways. He was a true Renaissance man who never hesitated to skillfully tackle and successfully complete any size or type of "project" he attempted. In addition, he was a caring person who was very generous with his time and talents, never hesitating to help when needed, often without being asked. Many of my memories of Don (that are much too numerous to list here) involve time spent enjoying nature, wonderful food, good conversation and lots of laughter. He will definitely be missed!

Dear Marcia, Sarah, Mark, Emily and family,

My heart aches for each of you and has throughout this week as I grieve the loss of Don. DJ was such a special friend and though we didn't see each other often following our days in Korea, the bond immediately rekindled as soon as we saw each other. I am so grateful for our time in recent months. Chris and I send our love and prayers to each of you. Steve Thorney
