

A native of Franklin County she was the daughter of the late Herbert and Wilotis Maret Bonner and was also preceded in death by her husband, Donald White Faircloth. Mrs. Faircloth was one of the founding teachers of Athens Academy, where she taught for many years until retirement. She was a member of the Athens First Baptist Church for 57 years and a member of the Jewel Sunday School Class.
Survivors include sons Tommy Faircloth of Atlanta and Bill Faircloth and wife Sallie of Marietta; grandchildren Beth Faircloth and Megan Greenville; great grandchild Ava Smith, niece Betty Giles and nephew Charlie Bonner.
Funeral services will be 2PM Tuesday, January 17, at the Athens First Baptist Church with Dr. Bill Ross and Rev. Frank Granger officiating. Interment will follow in Oconee Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends 6pm -8pm Monday, January 16, at Bernstein.
