GuyNelle lived in Oglethorpe County, GA, Fitzgerald, GA, Winterville, GA, Clanton, AL, and Helena, AL. While in Winterville, where she and her family were active in Winterville Baptist Church, she served many in her church and community. While in Clanton, AL, she attended Clanton Presbyterian Church with her son’s family, and was a blessing to many there. While at Maplewood Lane Assisted Living, she was a source of inspiration to fellow residents and staff, and for many years walked regularly around the facility.
She had trusted Jesus Christ as her personal Savior, and eagerly looked forward to her reunion with her husband and son, and to be in the presence of her Savior, Jesus Christ.
She was amazingly kind and thoughtful of others, and even when confined to bed the last few weeks of her life, when talking to family and friends and sitters always expressed concern for the other person.
She will be missed, but all who know her have been encouraged by her influence in their life.
The immediate family is grateful to God for His help and faithfulness, and for letting them see in Mom her strength in sickness and weakness, and her trust and faith in God.
