Mr. McAdams is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Barbara; parents, Sarah and Spurgeon McAdams, and brother, David McAdams.
Hal is survived by his brother, Alan McAdams (Ellen) of Falls Church, Virginia and sister, Barbara (Bobbie) McAdams of Augusta, Georgia. He is also survived by nephews, Scott McAdams and Shane McAdams (Kellee); niece, Megan McAdams Bennett (Zack); great nephews Parker and Silas Bennett; uncle, Charles (Buddy) Parker and several cousins.
If so desired, memorial contributions may be made to the Athens First Methodist Church, 327 N. Lumpkin Street, Athens, Georgia 30601.
A private burial will take place at a later date.
