A native of Athens, GA, Mr. James was the son of David and Margie Poole James. He was a diesel mechanic with The Townsend Corp.
Survivors in addition to his parents include his wife, Ann Bellamy James of Bogart; sister, Connie Wood and husband, Charles of Bogart, GA; daughters, Jessica Buchanan and husband, Matthew of Marietta, GA and Marie Wilhite and husband, Marcus of Athens; sons, Christopher James of Bogart and Thomas L McDaniel Jr and wife, Linda of Bogart; step-daughter Kim Bond of Danielsville, and 10 grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held 2PM Tuesday, December 31st in the chapel at Bernstein Funeral Home with Rev Ray Finger and Rev Lee Hunter officiating. Interment will follow at Evergreen Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6-8PM Monday, December 30th at the funeral home.
