Janet McCombs, Pharm. D passed away on Tuesday, Dec. 9th after a very lengthy illness. Originally from Milton, Florida, Janet spent 24 years as a Clinical Assistant Professor in the UGA College of Pharmacy before retiring in 2005.
She is survived by her father, William C. McCombs, Sr.; her brother Bill (Mary) McCombs; her sister, Leann McCombs; one niece, Rachel and one nephew, Conner and is preceded in death by her mother, Joann J. McCombs.
A memorial service will be at 11AM Saturday, February 14 at First Baptist Church, Athens. The family will receive friends at the church beginning at 10 AM.
