Born in Milwaukee, WI, he was the son of Hugo and Florence Klun. As an adult he lived in northern Alabama and New Orleans prior to living in Penfield (Greene County) and Athens for the last 30 years.
He is survived by his brother, Rick and wife, Mary; son, Jeff and wife, Amy; and son, Todd and wife, Denise; granddaughter, Ashley and two great-granddaughters, Amayah and Lana.
Ken retired from Penfield Christian Home where he worked as a drug and alcohol counselor and served the community as a Christian Minister. He attended New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. Ken attended Beech Haven Baptist Church.
His desire to help others gave purpose to his life. Ken volunteered for many charities during his life including most recently the Red Cross.
Visitation will be held at Beech Haven Baptist Church on Tuesday, July 26 at 1 p.m. followed by a memorial service at 2 p.m. His ashes will be scattered in accordance with his wishes.
