A native of Brooklyn, NY and long-time resident of Long Beach, NY, Mr. Katz was the son of the late Samuel and Jean Greenbaum Katz and was preceded in death by a sister, Edith Frank. He was a retired accountant.
Survivors include wife, Marcia Mondlin of Athens; daughters, Stefani Katz and husband, Greg Steele of Pleasanton, CA and Danielle Bourne and husband, David of Wiscasset, ME; brothers, Alan Katz of Hollywood, FL and Jay Katz of Cranbury, New Jersey, and grandchildren, Sam Steele and Drew Steele.
Memorial Services will be held 1:30PM Sunday, February 17th in the chapel at Bernstein Funeral Home with Rabbi Ronald Gerson officiating. The family will receive friends from 1-1:30PM prior to the service.
