Mary Davis Brush

Born June 19, 1939, in Selma, Alabama, Mary was the daughter of the late Henry Davis and Kathleen Porterfield Davis. She spent the majority of her life in Athens, where she became a cherished member of the community.

Mary graduated from Athens High School in the Class of 1957 and went on to earn a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the University of Georgia in 1961. She dedicated her life to being a homemaker, providing a loving and nurturing environment for her family.

In addition to her parents, Mary was preceded in death by her sister, Betty Davis Majchrzak.

Mary was married to David G. Brush for 54 years. She is also survived by her sister, Bonnie D. Hanks of Watkinsville, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.

A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, December 2, 2025, at 11:00 a.m., in Evergreen Memorial Park.
