Meredith Leigh Kinard Watkins October 3, 1983-June 18, 2013 Meri was born in Clarksville, TN, lived most of her life in Athens, GA, and recently Dewy Rose, GA. She attended public schools in Clarke County and graduated Cedar Shoals High School in 2001. She had a lifetime love of all creatures and nature. Meri passed while swimming which was one of her favorite activities. Our Meri left us far too soon but is now at peace and suffers no more. Rest in peace, daughter, sister, wife. “Hawk,” we pray your flight to your eternal home was swift and painless and may the wind be forever under your wings. Survived by husband Michael Watkins of Dewy Rose, GA, Mother and Father, Debbie and Eric Kinard and Brother Will Kinard of Athens, GA. A memorial to celebrate her life will be held on July 13 from 12:00 to 1:00 pm at Bernstein Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Nuci's Space or Samaritan Center for Counseling in Athens.
