Merideth Louise Sheskey, 29, of Athens, Georgia, and most recently Denver, Colorado, passed away on Saturday, August 24th, 2013. Merideth was the daughter of Mary Newkirk Stephens and William James Sheskey. Survivors, including her parents, are her stepmother Lynn Sheskey, stepfather Lawton E. Stephens, brother Lawty Stephens, sister Grace Stephens and a host of loving cousins, aunts, uncles and friends.
Merideth was a 2002 graduate of Oconee County High School. She loved spending time with her family on Lake Rabun. She loved the Georgia Bulldogs, and brought many of her Denver friends into the fold.
Merideth adored her sweet cat Blue Bell. She had a passion for social work, especially helping others who could not help themselves.
The family will hold a private Memorial Service.
