Born in Alabama, Mr. Andrews was a son of the late Cecil Vernon Andrews and Ola Clyde Brown Andrews. He was an avid hunter and fisherman who gladly shared his skills with his grandchildren, friends and family. He was a wonderful cook who taught us how to plan, prepare and truly enjoy wonderful meals together.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Andrews was preceded in death by a brother, Vernon Andrews; and a sister, Barbara Ann Andrews Wright.
Survivors include his loving wife of 58 years, Jean Porter Andrews; proud daughters, Dianna Andrews Mason (Tommy) and Dana Andrews Hood (Tim); brother, Michael Don Andrews and his wife, Mary Ann and grandchildren who adored him, Shelby Mason Borowicz (Paul), Dylan Mason, Erin Mason, Patrick Hood (Corbie) and Levi Hood.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
