She was born Phyllis Marie McKervey on December 22, 1941, in Cheboygan, MI to her parents Harold McKervey and Emily McKervey. She graduated as an RN from Harper School of Nursing in Detroit, MI in 1963.
She spent many years in nursing, doing almost everything you could do as a nurse including private practice and, later, as a part-time school nurse in Greene County.
Phyllis was married on October 8, 1976 to her loving husband Frederick Huebner who survives her. She is also survived by her sisters Rosemary LePage and Ellen Knutson, her brother Jim McKervey, four children Jeff Traylor, Cyndi Howard, Brad Traylor and Holly Smith, and five grandchildren Zachary Traylor, Cheyenne Howard, Harrison Smith, Peyton Smith, and Hudson Smith.
Phyllis loved to golf, travel, and especially loved to entertain in her home. Along with the forementioned she was especially happy being wife, mother, and grandmother. Nothing seemed to bring her more joy than her family and friends.
