A native of Mena, Arkansas Mrs. McKinnon was the daughter of Bernince Culbertons Loyd and the late Warren Wilson Loyd and was preceded in death by a brother Warren Loyd. She was a nurse manager with Advantage Behavioral and attended Prince Avenue Baptist Church.
Survivors in addition to her mother include husband, Kerry McKinnon of Athens; a step-brother, J.W. Turner of Vashon, Washington and sisters, Vicki Hughes and Lisa Loyd both of Mena, AK.
A memorial service will be held 3PM Friday, June 28th at Bernstein Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Friends of Advantage, 250 North Ave, Athens, GA 30601.
