Gordon Mallory was my papa. Thanks to everyone for the kind words about him. He will be missed by so many! As a little girl  I spent a lot of time with my grandparents from Evans fine foods to oak grove meat market and Destin every year. He loved his family to be together he loved eating ! He loved music frank Sinatra and he was always wanting the new trends in electronics. I always knew how smart he was you could tell that by carrying on a conversation with him, but I didn’t realize he was a veteran I didn’t realize he was so well liked and respected by so many people.  When they moved to Athens I was glad because they were closer to my mother and I. But so many of the best memories I have with him is on Hartland dr. I still remember their phone number. Thanks to everyone who came out Thursday he would have been so proud that his bank family came out. The family thanks all of you, Kristin Dillingham (granddaughter of Gordon) daughter of Mary 

I am so sorry for the family's lose. and Mrs. Mallory will always be my extended family.  I am so sorry Merck and I have been out of town working and were not in Ga. to visit the family during their time of lose.

The family were my neighbors.  The New Year Eve Parties.  The time Ms. Mallory needed help with her bush that was losing it leaves and became bare.  (It is a joke between Ms. Mallory and me.)  Our bunnies hoping all over the neighborhood.  Merck always made sure he decorated the outside for Christmas for Mr. and Mrs. Mallory to enjoy.   The walks we had.   Our friendship.  I have missed them greatly since they moved to Athens and sold their home.

In conclusion,  my prayers are with the family.  I  AM THINKING OF BARBARA AND THE REST OF THE FAMILY.  MAY MR. MALLORY REST IN PEACE.   Ella

OHEAVENLY FATHER, MR.GORDON ,ALWAYS HAD A SMILE AND I MOVED TO WHERE WE ALL LIVED IN A RETIREMENT COMMUNITY  , MRS . MALLORY AND MR .MALLORY  WERE SO KIND AND GRACIOUS ALWAYS ,A JOY TO SPEAK TO THEM AND CHAT . I WOULD GET HIM THE NEW YORK TIMES AND AN OCCASIONAL WALL STREET JOURNAL AS HE LOVED HIS PAPER AND COFFEE IN THE WICKER ROOM , MRS .BARBARA IS THE EPITOME OF KINDNESS AND GRACIOUSNESS  TO NEIGHBORS ,AND I PRAY PEACE AND BLESSINGS FOR THEIR FAMILY ! Barbara and all the sweet kids! Lori Francisco just shared this sad news.....I am so sorry. What great memories of our families on Hartland Drive.it is so hard Barbara to lose our life partner!  It is a new way of life that I am trying to get used to. My Robert is gone 5 1/2 years now and I’m doing okay, and you will too! Please send me your address.  God bless!

As far back as I can remember, I have known the Mallory family. I was a baby when we first met. My father worked with Gordon at C&S. 
I was privileged to grow up knowing and then working with Gordon at C&S National Bank. 
Gordon always made family gatherings, parties at C-S-ta and meetings at the bank so much fun. He had so many funny stories! 
My love goes out to Barbara, Bobby, Mary, George, and Joe.
