A native of Franklin County, GA, Mrs. Beck was the daughter of the late J.D. and Minnie Andrews Patterson and was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Lee Beck. She was a dedicated wife and mother and a member of Sandy Creek Baptist Church.
Survivors include daughters, Sandy Beck of Athens and Linda Shedd of Danielsville; sisters, Bernice Drake of Athens, Bobbie Wade of Gainesville, and Sarah Patterson of Athens, and grandsons, Charles Town and Arthur Humphries both of Athens.
Funeral services will be held 2PM Sunday, December 16th in the chapel at Bernstein Funeral Home with Rev Brian James officiating. Interment will be private. The family will receive friends from 5-7PM Saturday, December 15th at Bernstein.
